This fatebinding is a source of constant inspiration for the Scion, even if they do not mean to be. When this fatebinding is made, choose a specialty that applies to this muse. This could be an art form, a professional skill, hobby or a school of study.

Invoke

The Scion gains enhancement equal the strength of this fatebinding to one task roll using the chosen specialty.

Compel

Compel this when the Scion is performing a task of their chosen specialty. The Scion gains 1 Legend, however, the task is an automatic failure. The Fatebinding gains the Imperiled Condition, and all rolls using the specialty are failures until the imperiled condition is resolved

Resolve

The Scion finds the situation untenable and must fix the situation. Something simply must change. The player may choose one of the following options
• The Scion gains a Failure Deed to create a great work in their specialty. The difficulty must be equal to at least the strength of the fatebinding. Only when this task is completed, can they attempt their area of focus as normal
• The Scion swears off their specialty forever. They gain a Failure Deed to learn a new specialty. When completed, replace your speciality for another.
• The Muse loses their life in a tragic fashion.
