Anyone within medium range of this adversary immediately suffers either the Exhausted or Slowed status effect (chosen when gaining this quality). For as long as the character remains within range, this status effect resolves only if they lash out (verbally or physically) against another character within the same range. If they exit this range, they retain the status effect but may resolve it normally.
