Gengen Wer, the Great Honker
Aliases: Great Crackler
A primordial creator deity sometimes associated with the other creator deities of Amun and Geb, but occasionally depicted as its own deity.
Gengen Wer is the primaeval force of creative energy. The dead are said to fly to the afterlife on the wings of geese where they are tasked with guarding the egg (or are indeed the egg) of the Great Honker.
In the modern day, the Great Honker remains as it always has, a being of pure creation energy, continuously reproducing and protecting its young continuing the cycle it began so long ago. The only thing that’s changed since then is the sheer difficulty of shepherding it’s eggs across the cosmos.
Purview: Artistry (all), Beasts (Geese), Epic stamina, Health, Journeys, Sky
Callings: Creator, Guardian, Liminal
Relic:
Cosmic Egg: One of Gengen Wer’s great cosmic eggs. So long as it is sound, you are sound. So long as it lives, you live. So long as it breathes air, you breathe air.
Aer, the Poet’s Curse
Cost: Imbue 1 Legend
Subject: One Target
Range: Long
Action: Simple
You recite a bit of satireof verse that can ruin reputations, or even kill. Select one target whose name you know. This name need not be their true name, but must be something they are known by. For the rest of the Scene, you may make attacks for the rest of the scene using only your words. These attacks use the Social+Culture rolls. These attacks ignore armor and cover but do not gain the benefits of Weapon Tags or Ranged attack stunts (except Inflict Damage and Critical Hit). If the Target cannot hear your words, or does not speak your language, they get +1 to Defense. These attacks cause injuries as normal, but any conditions are to their reputation rather than their body.
Once per scene, you can inflict a lasting condition on their reputation. It increases the difficulty of social actions by +1 until and unless they have either killed, or embarrassed the caster of this boon. This spends the imbued legend.
BREAKER OF PILLARS
Cost: Imbue 1 Legend
Duration: One scene
Subject: Self
Action: Simple Action
Not only are you super strong, but you’re also incredibly precise and intelligent. You know exactly how to get more bang for your buck when it comes to tearing down the world. You may ask the GM one of the following questions about any defensive structure, location, or vehicle:
- What is the weak spot?
- What can cause the most damage while keeping people safe?
- What can I break to cause ___?
You gain a +2 Enhancement towards achieving that end OR you may spend a legend instead, to gain +2 Enhancement on a single roll, and instill a difficulty 3 Complication of your choosing.
