Signature K’uh Purview: Tzolk’in

The K’uh are not beholden to the vagaries of Fate because they know destiny is something to be measured, calculated, and with some skill, predicted. They are masters of astronomy and mathematics, skillfully observing the motions of the stars and their 260-day Tzolk’in calendars to plot their next move. They know the burden of destiny passes from God to God each day in an unending chain as the year progresses noting which days are auspicious and which hold peril. Understanding the Tzolk’in is key to unlocking these secrets. These divinations take many forms depending on the personal preferences of the Scion, incorporating Maya calendars in painted books or mobile apps with additional aid from cast beans, obsidian mirrors, or observing the flight of birds

Tzolk’in Innate Power
You are always prepared, with access to almost any common or relatively inexpensive mundane equipment you might need: A quick rummage through your pockets can turn out anything from chalk to rope to walkie talkies. At the beginning of each session, you can also name your current fixation — a topic or field of study that’s taken your interest. Once per scene, you may apply your newfound knowledge to gain +2 Enhancement.

Patience vs. Dominion

The K’uh have Patience. Always watching the skies. Always observing their foes.While the Teōtl rage and Apu march, the K’uh plot, employing elaborate webs of negotiation, deception, trickery, and divine observation to great advantage. The drawback to K’uh patience lays in their dogmatic reliance on calendrics.

The K’uh’s main weakness is the lust for Dominion etched into their every action. They do not think they should dominate all they survey; they know they should. This makes them formidable, but alienates potential allies and leaves them open to attack, exploitation, and disunity. This makes long-term alliances brittle as competing members of the K’uh wrestle for position. The K’uh firmly believe there is an order to things, with them at its apex and everyone else beneath them.
