Nobility vs. Fellowship

Nobility is the Virtue of heroic, grand gestures. It always involves activity of some kind: lavishing others with gifts, throwing enormous feasts, swearing unbreakable oaths, declaring one’s undying love, fighting impossible odds, or taking personal risks that no one else dares take. A Scion who fully embraces his Nobility is ready for adventure at a moment’s notice, but because he doesn’t even hesitate long enough to understand what he’s getting involved in, the results can be as disastrous as they can be magnificent.

Fellowship is the Virtue of cooperation and negotiation. Scions of the Plant Dôn are expected to listen to others and not only follow their own impulses, however noble they feel. It’s important to them to have a trusted group of advisors to help curb their own instincts, show them how to weigh benefits against consequences, and then work
together to achieve their goals. A Scion who leans toward Fellowship can be a calming influence on others and is more likely to build the sorts of alliances that the pantheon enjoys, but it’s easy for her to succumb to bad decisions if she is surrounded by advisors with ulterior motives.
