However, in exchange for the manitou’s aid, it will request a favor from or impose a restriction on either you or that character (if that character is a PC, the responsibility is almost always on them). Failure to abide by this request either causes the cured
ailment to return in full force, or imposes a Condition that represents the manitou’s disfavor.
